The serenity around was very conducive to the event. The breeze embracing the big trees near the Ja - canal awakened a freshness in all who were present. Makalause children offered flowers and burnt incense sticks and made the place favourable and pleasant.
They also listened attentively to the " Bana " ( sermon ) of the " podi hamuduruwo " ( the novice monk ) of the temple. They spent several hours in and around the place. After enjoying some cool drinks under the hot sun happily all went back home with a cool and pleasent mind and heart.
අවට පරිසරයේ පැවති ශාන්ත බව එම අවස්ථාවට රුකුලක් විය. ජා ඇල අසල වූ විසල් වෘක්ෂයන් සිපගෙන හමා ආ සුළඟ පැමිණ සිටි සියලුදෙනා බැතිමත් නැවුම් හැඟුමකින් ප්රබෝධවත් කළේ ය. මාකලෝසා දරුවෝ සුවඳ මල් පුජා කරමින් හා හඳුන් කූරු දල්වමින් පරිසරය සුවඳවත් හා ප්රසන්න කළෝ ය.
පොඩි හාමුදුරුවන්ගේ බණ හා විහාරස්ථානයේ පුරාවත පිළිබඳ විස්තරයට බැතිමත් ව සවන්දුන් ඔවුහූ නමස්කාර පූර්වකව උන්වහන්සේගෙන් සමුගත්හ. පැය කීපයක් එම ස්ථානයේ සෞන්දර්ය භුක්ති විඳිමින් ගතකළ මාකලෝසා පිරිස දහමින් සිසිල් වූ සිත මෙන් ම දැඩි හිරු රශ්මිය නිසා උණුසුම් ව තිබූ ගත ද සිසිල් බීමකින් නිවා සනහාගෙන යළි නිවෙස් බලා පිටත්ව ගියහ.
