2026.04.28 was an unforgettable day for Makalause. 12 Makalause children with their teachers went to Guruge Park swimming area .
Before getting to the pools they also enjoyed the birds and animals in the area.
Then they also visited the blacksmith's area popularly known as " kammala" and came to know its parts and activities.
The swimming area has four swimming pools. Makalause group used the children's pool which was shallow yet filled with varieties of activities, and the pool with waves .
After spending a few hours they enjoyed a delicious lunch. Before the heavy rainfall start to disturb their happiness all were lucky to get in to the van to go back.
Thanks to the Little Romel Fund It was an amazing experience to all the children and staff at Makalause.
