As the YMCA of Pamunugama, we cannot remain silent in the face of the immense suffering endured by the people of Palestine—especially the children who are victims of displacement, hunger, and violence.
In line with our values of justice, compassion, and solidarity, we have written two letters appealing for urgent interventions:

One addressed to His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, urging Christian leaders to raise their voices globally for peace and justice.

Another addressed to the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sri Lanka, raising concerns over recent policy decisions and urging Sri Lanka to continue its long-standing tradition of standing firmly with the people of Palestine.
We believe that even small actions—letters, statements, prayers, or symbolic acts—can contribute to a stronger global voice against oppression and for the dignity of all people.
We share these letters here as a reflection of our position and as an invitation to others to stand in solidarity with Palestine.
