The children with their teacher and the project manager visited the church on Thursday 27th February 2025. After a short introduction about the purpose of the visit the children met the parish priest, Fr. Jayantha Nimal and had a discussion about the church and the premises.
The children prayed in the church, visited the different places of the church . In the big compound , towards the back part they also played a little and enjoyed. The priest and his helpers served the children with refreshments.
The children also got the opportunity to hear the story about St. Nicholas and his famous story behind " santa ". The children stayed around till their parents arrived in the afternoon to take them home. It was a wonderful day both to children and the teachers.
