This year on 06 June YMCA celebrates its 173rd Birthday while the introduction of Basketball to the world by YMCA also celebrates its 125th anniversary. Hence, the World Alliance of YMCAs launched the World Challenge Event to promote YMCA through the game of Basketball. Many local and National YMCA Movements in the world organized events, tournaments on 03rd June, 2017. Pamunugama YMCA also organized an shooting event to take part in this global event. Following the shooting event children's members were entertained by youth leaders with some more indoor and outdoor games by youth leaders. Parallel to the World Challenge event Pamunugama YMCA organized a used item sale to raise funds to support the flood effected students in Sri Lanka.  |
