Scholarship for 20 flood effected students

Responding to a request made by Pamunugama YMCA, Come-Share Foundation has come forward to provide monthly scholarships to 20 students in flood effected areas in Southern Sri Lanka. 15 students from Palatuwa Gunarathana Maha Vidyala and 5 students from Hulandawa Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Marata area were selected through the school heads to receive scholarships. 

Students will receive Rs 2,000/= per month from June, 2017 until they sit for their Advanced Level Examination and will continue to support for further education. Special grant of Rs 3,000 also will be provided along with the first installment to purchase the schooling items which they lost during the recent floods. We thank Matara YMCA for introducing the YMCA of Pamunugama to the above mentioned schools and Come-Share foundation for always giving positive responses to the requests made by YMCA of Pamunugama.
