YMCA Pamunugama's participation at the National Youth Gathering 2023 - ජාතික තරුණ එකමුතුව

Young people from all over Sri Lanka came together for the YMCA National Youth Gathering 2023 to bring back the feeling of togetherness and empowerment. YMCA Pamunugama sent Shinesh and Hiruni from our youth club, along with Raini from the staff. Additionally, Ridma attended as an invited facilitator.

This two-day adventure was filled with activities designed to foster personal growth and forge deeper connections. Shinesh, Hiruni, and Raini engaged in team-building exercises, embarked on a thrilling kayaking adventure, and participated at discussions about the rich history and visionary future of the YMCA.

Amidst this diverse array of activities, our representatives actively participated in planning sessions, aligning our goals with the YMCA Vision 2030 and the plans of the National Council for the year 2023.

As our representatives return, they bring with them a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to fostering connections within our community. We are eager to harness their experiences to empower our youth club, expand our activities, and continue making a positive impact in Pamunugama.

This gathering has reaffirmed the enduring relevance of the YMCA in the lives of young individuals, showcasing its capacity to empower and unite youth towards a brighter future, not only in Pamunugama but across Sri Lanka.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම් ජාතික සභාවේ තරුණ කමිටුවේ මැදි මැදිහත්වීමෙන් සංවිධානය කෙරුණු ජාතික තරුණ එකමුතුව සැප්තැම්බර් මස 1 සහ 2 යන  දිනයන්හි කල්ලාර් හී පිහිටි කමාම් ෆෝක් හයි ස්කූල් පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවැත්විණ. තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම් 10 ක් නියෝජනය කරමින් විසිපස් දෙනෙකුගෙන් යුත් කණ්ඩායමක් මෙම කදවුර සඳහා එක්විය. පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය නියෝජනය කරමින් ශිනේෂ් සහ හිරුනි යන තරුණ හවුලේ නියෝජිතයන් දෙදෙනා සමඟ කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය නියෝජනය කරමින් රයිනි සහභාගි විය.  මොවුන්ට අමතරව සංගමයේ ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් ආරාධිත පහසුකම් සපයන්නකු ලෙස තරුණ එකමුතුව සඳහා එක් විය.

මෙවැනි එකමුතුවක් සංවිධානයක කෙරුණේ වසර ගණනාවකට පසුවයි.  එබැවින්  ප්‍රාදේශීය වශයෙන් විහිද පවතින තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම් හී සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් හට එකිනෙකා හඳුනා ගැනීමටත් සංගම් අතර පවතින සබඳතාවය වර්ධනය කරගැනීමටත් මෙම වැඩ වැඩසටහන ඉවහල් විය. දෙදින පුරා විවිධ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සිදුකල අතර, තරුණ කටයුතු සඳහා ප්‍රාදේශීය සහ ජාතික වශයෙන් වැඩසටහනක් සඳහා එකඟ වීම, තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය සහ එහි මෙහෙවර පිළිබඳ දැනගැනීම, කැනෝ බෝට්ටු පැදීම, කූබ් ක්‍රීඩාව හඳුන්වාදීම මේ අතර විය.
