A set of fruit plants were distributed among the 25 families attached to the Life Agriculture Project of the YMCA of Pamunugama. Project have taken place in Horowpothana area in the North Central Province for last three years. During the project period the beneficiaries were equipped with knowledge on sustainable agriculture and they were provided with equipment, seeds, plants to mobilize them to involve in sustainable agriculture without the usage of chemical fertilizer.
Plant distribution event was held on 13 June 2016 in Horowpothana. 4 delegates from the YMCA also attended the distribution event.
