This is the month that we celebrate the Work of the YMCA as the YMCA
founders Day falls on 06 June. First event was held on 06 June. YMCA of
Pamunugama conducted a Shramadana (Work Camp) to clean the Road that leads to
the YMCA. Yesterday (21 June, 2015) the YMCA of Pamunugama organized a Kubb
Tournamen as the second event of celebrations.
7 teams (Around 25 children) participated the Tournaments which held at
the YMCA Volleyball Court. Kids from age 9 to 15 took part in the event which
was full of enthusiasm, friendship and happiness. Tournament was held as a
knock-out series. All the teams had a team name (Funny names) and the team
“Gedara Yana Gaman” won the Finals.
