YMCA of Pamunugama has been providing children with various opportunities to showcase their talents since its inception. Dancing has been one of the areas where Pamunugama children showcased their talents at various stages and won several competitions as well. After the relaxation of Covid 19 restrictions, YMCA Pamunugama started a new dancing class for the children in the area.
First session was held 02 November 2021 at the YMCA hall and classes are scheduled for every Tuesdays of the week. YMCA invites all interested children and youth to join the group and be a part of the YMCA of Pamunugama dancing group. Ms. Chemika Lakshani is working as the dancing instructor of the group.
පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය එහි ආරම්භයේ සිටම ප්‍රදේශෙයේ දරුවන් හට තම හැකියාවන් සහ කුසලතාවයන් ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය පරිසරය සකසාදුන් අවස්ථා අප්‍රමාණය. නැටුම් ඉන් ප්‍රධාන අංගයක් වූ අතර සංගමයේ දරු දැරියන් අවස්ථා බොහෝමයකදී දක්ෂතාවයන් ඉදිරිපත් කොට ඇති අතර තරඟ රැසකින්ද ජයග්‍රහනය ලබා ඇත.
නැවතත් සංගමයේ නැටුම් අංශය ශක්තිමත් කරමින් නර්ථන කණ්ඩායමක් ආරම්භ කෙරින. එහි ප්‍රථම හමුව නොවැම්බර් මස 02 අඟහරුවාදා පැවති අතර සෑම අඟහරුවාදා දිනකම සවස 3.15 ට සංගම් ශාලාවේදී පැවැත්වේ. මේ සඳහා උනන්දුවක් දක්වන සියළුම ළමා සහ තරුණ ප්‍රජාවට ඇරයුම් කොට සිටිමු. නර්ථන ආචාරය චෙමිකා ලක්ෂානි මෙනවිය විසින් නර්ථන කණ්ඩායම මෙහෙයවනු ලබයි.
