ලෝක බාලදක්ෂ දිනය සැමරූ පමුණුගම බාලදක්ෂයෝ

ලෝක බාලදක්ෂ දිනය පෙබරවාරි මස 22 වන දිනට යෙදී ඇත්තේ 1857 පෙබරවාරි මස 22 දින උපන් බාලදක්ෂ ව්‍යාපරයේ නිර්මාතෘ වන බේඩ්න් පවෙල් මහතාගේ ජන්ම දිනය සිහිවීම පිණිසය. මෙම දිනය ලොව පුරා බාලදක්ෂයින් විසින් ඉතා උනන්දුවන් සමරණු ලබයි.

මීට සමගාමීව පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ බාලදක්ෂයින් ද ලෝක බාලදක්ෂ දිනය සැමරීම සඳහා 2021 පෙබරවාරී මස 22 වන දින සංගමයේ දී එක් රැස්විය. මෙහිදී බාලදක්ෂ රැලිය පවැත්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව බේඩ්න් පවෙල් මහතාගේ ජීවන කතාව පිලිබඳව බාලදක්ෂයින් දැනුවත් කරන ලදි. ඉන් අනතුරුව බාලදක්ෂයින් සුළු සංග්‍රහයක් බුක්තිවිඳ ගීත ගායනා කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව කෙටි වැඩසටහන නිමා විය. 

මේ සඳහා බාලදක්ෂ සහ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන් 20 ක් සහභාගී වූ අතර සංගමයේ කාර්යය මණ්ඩලයද සහභාගී විය. 

YMCA Scouts celebrates the thinking day

Scouts of the Pamunugama YMCA gathered on 22 February, 2021 at the YMCA premises to mark the World Scouts Day. This day is celebrated by all the brothers and sisters in the Scout Movement World Wide as it is the Birth day of the Baden Powel who is the founder of the Great Scout Movement.

Scouts started the gathering with flag hoisting and later listen to the life story of Baden Powel also known as BP among the scouts. Then the scouts enjoyed a small meal and sang songs and had a nice chat sitting on a circle. 20 scouts and YMCA staff attended the occasion. 

Evaluation of 2020 and Innovative ideas for 2021

Members of the YMCA of Pamunugama gathered at the YMCA premises on the independence day to evaluate the success of the YMCA of Pamunugama activities during the year 2020 and to look for innovative ideas for 2021. Event started with a flashback of 2020 using pictures. After the presentation members shared their thoughts and significant memories they had from 2020. 

Then the discussion was led by Aruna Shantha Nonis, consultant of Pamunugama YMCA. Members discussed on  the things that we could have done better and on the lessons learnt though our involvements. This discussion was held in order to learn and enrich the quality of programmes to be conducted in the year 2021. Further discussion was agreed by members to finalize the programme plan for the year 2021.

2020 පසු විපරුම සහ 2021 සඳහා නව සාමාජික අදහස් විමසීම

2020 සංගමයට පමණක් නොව මුළු මහත් ලෝක වැසියන්ටම වෙනස් සහ අභියෝගාත්මක වසරක් විය.  සංගමයේ වැඩසටහන් සුපුරුදු පරිදි සිදු කිරීමට නොහැකි වූ අතර කුමන තත්වයක් මත වුවද සංගමයේ මෙහෙවර නවතා දැමිය නොහැක යන පදමන මත සංගමය වසර පුරාවටම විවිධ උපක්‍රම සහ ක්‍රමවේදයන් භාවිතා කරමින් ජනතා මෙහෙවරෙ නොකඩවා සිදු කරීමට උත්සාහ දැරිණ. 

නිමාවූ 2020 වසර පිළිබඳව පසුවිපරුමක් සිදු කිරීමට සහ 2021 වසරේ සංගටමයේ වැඩකටයුතු කුමන අයුරින් සිදුවිය යුතුද යන්න පිළිබඳව සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට විශේෂ සාමාජික හමුවක් 2021 පෙබරවාරි මස 04 වන නිදහස් දින පැවැත්වින. 

වැඩසටහන ආරම්භ කරමින් ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් විසින් 2020 වසර තුළ සිදුකරන ලද වැඩසටහන් පිළිබඳව ආවර්ජනයක් සිදු කෙරින. ඉන අනතුරුව 2020 වසර තුළ සිදු කරන ලද වැඩසටහන් පිළිබඳව සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් තම අදහස් ඉදිරිපත් කළ අතර, ඉන උගත් පාඩම් සහ තවදුරටත් සංගමයක් ලෙස මැදිහත්වීමට තිබූ අවස්ථාවන් පිළිබඳවද සාකච්ඡා කලේ 2021 වසර සඳහා වැඩසටහන් නිර්මාණය කිරීමේ දී ඒවා කෙරෙහි සැලකිල්ළක් දැක්වීමේ අරමුණෙනි.

මෙම වැඩසටහනේ දෙවන පියවර ඉදිරියේදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත අතර එහිදී 2021 වසර තුළ සිදුකිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන වැඩසටහන් පිළිබඳව තවදුරටත් සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට නියමිතව ඇත. සංවාදය මෙහෙයවමින් සාමාජික අදහස් ක්‍රමවත් ලෙස විමසීම සඳහා සංගමයේ උපදේශක අරුණ ශාන්ත නෝනිස් මහතා ඉතා වැදගත් මෙහයක් ඉටුරන ලදි.

නිදහස් දින සැමරුම සහ නව බාලදක්ෂයින් හට පදක්කම් ප්‍රධානය

73 වන නිදහස් දිනය සමරමින් පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සගමයේ බාලදක්ෂයේ 2020 පෙබරවාරි මස 04 වන දින සංගම් භූමියේදී රැස්විය. ජාතික ධජය එසවීමෙන් පසු බාලදක්ෂ නායකතුමන් සහ සගමයේ සභාපති තුමන් විසින් නිදහස් දිනය පිළිබඳව දරුවන් කෙටියෙන් හඳුන්වාදෙන ලදි.

ඉන් නතතුරුව නවක බාලදක්ෂයින් 6 දෙනෙකු සඳහා සාමාජික පදක්කම් පළඳවමින් ලෝක බාලදක්ෂ සහෝදරත්වය වෙත සාදරයෙන් පිළිගන්නා ලදි. මෙම අවස්ථාවට සංගමයේ සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් කීපදෙනෙකුම සහභාහී වූ අතර නවක බාලදක්ෂයින් හට සුභපැතීමටද ඔවන් එක්විය.

Independence Day Celebrations and Investiture of new Scouts

YMCA of Pamunugama Scouts gathered at the YMCA to mark the 73rd Independence of Sri Lanka. Meeting started with hoisting the National Flag and sharing thoughts on the independence by the Scout Leader and President of Pamunugama YMCA. 

Following the Flag hoisting a group of six new scouts received the membership badge which will officially welcome them to the World Scouts brotherhood. Scouts leaders and several Board Members joined the event to congratulate new scouts.

ZOOM Workshop on Language and Speech Therepy

During the year 2020 YMCA of Pamunugama laid the foundation for a Network of Organizations working for the Specially Abled. This network meets regularly and they have already started to conduct joint events. Their first initiative was to prepare a common manual for the students to work from home with parents which is currently followed by parents.

As the second activity the network has launched a series of awareness workshops to educate parents and programme leaders on the matters related to specially abled. First programme was held on 30 January, 2021 using ZOOM. Event was hoisted by the Makalause Dream School with the participation of 30 including parents and programme leaders of the organizations attached to the network. 

During the workshop the participants were educated on the matters related to language and speech development. Uththara Isuri Yapa, teacher and speech and language therapist conducted the session. During the session parents had a good interaction sharing their experiences and raising questions which was answered by the resource person.

කථන සහ භාෂා පුහුණුව පිළිබඳව සූම් (ZOOM) ඔස්සේ දැනුවත්වූ විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා සහිත දරුවන්ගේ දෙමාපියන්.

මාකලොසා සිහින පාසලද අනුබද්ධිත විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා සහිත දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් කටයුතු කරන සංවිධාන එකමුතුවෙ යොජනාවක් ලෙස කොවිඩ් වසංගතය හෙතුවෙන් නිවසෙහි සිටින දරුවන්ගේ දෙමාපියන් හා වැඩසටහනන් මෙහෙයවන්නන් දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වැඩමුළු කිහිපයක් පැවැත්වීමට සාකච්ඡා විය. මෙය කරුණු 6 යටතේ සිදු කිරීමට නියමිත අතර දරුවන්ට අවශ්‍යය කථන පුහුණුව ලබා දිම, ශාරිරික ක්‍රියාකාරකම් පිළිබඳ දරුවන්ගේ අවධානය යොමු කිරීම, බාලදක්ෂ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් පුහුණුව ,දෙමාපියන්ගෙ අධ්‍යත්මිකත්වය නගා සිටුවීම හා සමාජිය අභියෝග වලට නොසැලී මුහුණ දිම යන කරුණු 6ක් පිළිබඳව වැඩමුළු පැවැත්වීමට තිරණය විය.

එහි ප්‍රථම වැඩමුළුව, කථන හා භාෂා පුහුණුව ලබා දිමෙ වැඩසටහන ‍Zoom මාධ්‍යය උපයෝගී කරගනිමින් පැවැත් විය. මාකලොස සිහින පාසලේ ආචාර්යවරියක් හා කථන හා භාෂා ච්කිත්සකවරියක් වන උත්තරා ඉසුරි යාපා ව්සින් දෙශනය මෙහෙයවීම සිදු කල අතර 30 ආසන්න ප්‍රමාණයක් මෙ සදහා සහභාගි විය. සහභාගි වූ පිරිස අතර ජාලයට සම්බන්ධ සංවිධාන නියෝජිතයන් හා දෙමාපියන් විය. වැඩමුළුව සාර්ථකව පැවැති බවට දෙමාපියන් දැක්වූ අදහස් වලින් පිළිඹිබු විය. ඉදිරියේදිද සැලසුම් කර වැඩමුළු පැවැත්වීමට බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් පසුවේ.

Scouts at YMCA after a while

With the escalation of Covid 19 second wave YMCA had to temporally stop regular gatherings of the Scouts in the YMCA premises. Scouts were only involved with the Covid 19 Special Scout Programme which they had to follow from their homes. Scouts were so eager to meet physically and they had the first opportunity to do so on 31 January, 2021.Special Scout Meeting was held in the YMCA following all the health regulations. 

Scout Master Danuka and the staff led the day where scouts enjoyed the company of fellow scouts singing, participating in games and having meals together. At the event, scouts who have successfully completed the First Phase of Covid 19 Special Scout Programme were awarded with the souvenir badge.

20 Scouts joined the day and also discussed the future activities of the Scout Programme at the event. YMCA is looking forward to continue scouts activities with physical meetings in the future while give priority to the safety of the scouts.

කළකට පසු රැස්වූ බාලදක්ෂයෝ

කොවිඩ් 2 වන රැල්ල සමඟ සියළුම බාලදක්ෂ රැස්වීම් නැවත්වීමට සිදුවූ අතර දරුවන් නිවසේ සිට සිදු කරන ලද කොවිඩ් 19 බාලදක්ෂ වැඩසටහන හා සම්බන්ධව සිටියහ. කෙසේ වෙතත් දරුවන් නැවත සාමාන්‍යය බාලදක්ෂ රැස්වීම් පැවැත්වීම සඳහා ඉතා කැමැත්තෙන් පසුවූ අතර, ඒ සඳහා අවස්ථාව 2021 ජනවාරි මස 31 ඉරුදින දරුවන්ට උදාවිය.

එදින විශේෂ බාලදක්ෂ හමුවක් සංගමයේ දී සංවිධානය කොට තිබුනේ බාලදක්ෂ නායක ධනුක ජයමාන්න මහතාගේ සහ කාර්යය මණ්ඩලයේ මැදිහත්වීමෙනි. කලකට පසු එහිදී තම මිත්‍ර බාලදක්ෂයින් සමග ගීත ගායනා කරමින්, ක්‍රිඩාවල යෙදෙමින් සහ එක්ව ආහාර ගමිනින් බාලදක්ෂ කටයුතු වල යෙදීමට අවස්ථාව හිමිවිය. කොවිඩ් 19 විශේෂ බාලදක්ෂ 

වැඩ සැළැස්ම නිම කරන ලද ළමුන් හට සමරු පදක්කම් පිරිනැමීමද එදින සිදුවිය.

මෙදින රැස්වීම සඳහා දරුවන් 20 දෙනෙකු සහභාගී වූ අතර ඉදිරි බාලදක්ෂ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සහ නිවසේ සිට සිදුකරගෙන යන කොවිඩ් 19 විශේෂ බාලදක්ෂ වැසටහනේ දෙවන පියවරේ ප්‍රගතිය පිළිබඳවද සාකච්ඡා කෙරින. පවතින තත්වයන් හමුවේ වුවද හැකි සෑම අවස්ථාවකම සෞඛ්‍ය නීති පිළිපදිමින් ඉදිරියටත් සාමාන්‍ය බාලදක්ෂ කටයුතු පවත්වාගෙන යෑමට සංගමය බලාපොරොත්තු වේ.
