Global Week and TT Participants from Pamunugama

ICY programme has given number of oppertunities to young people to ge international exposure in past 7 years. This year 3 youth from Pamunugama YMCA will attend the Global Week International Leadership Training programme and the TT Youth Festival in June, 2013. These programmes are organized by the Y Global Norway as an annual event.

Shamal Nanayakkara is one of them. He has been a Scout Leader, Youth Leader and and ICY for the YMCA of Pamunugama. He has contributed vastly to the movement and the ICY. He will be a great candidate for the Global Week and TT this year.

Next it is Hansika Peiris, who is a talented girl from Pamunugama. She will be the only girl among two boys attending Global Week and TT this time from Sri Lanka. She has been a member of the YMCA only for few months but showed a lot of character.

Last but not the least is Nimantha, an eager young boy also will represent ICY Pamunugama. He has been a scout at his early age and now he is an active ICY and a youth leader of the YMCA of Pamunugama.

YMCA of Pamunugama wish them all the best and looking forward to have their contribution even after they attend these international events.
