පමුණුගම YMCA නියෝජිත පිරිසක් නෝර්වේහී පැවති ජාත්‍යන්තර මිත්‍රත්ව කඳවුරට සහභාගි වෙති

නෝර්වේහී බ්‍රොනොයිසුන්ඩ් තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම්  බාලදක්ෂය කණ්ඩායම විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද "Friends Across Boarders" මිත්‍රත්ව කඳවුරට පමුණුගම YMCA හි හත් දෙනෙකුගෙන් යුත් කණ්ඩායමක් සහභාගී විය.  සාමාජිකයින් 15 දෙනෙකුගෙන් යුත් ශ්‍රී ලංකා කණ්ඩායමට මොරටුව සහ යාපනය නියෝජනය කළ බාලදක්ෂයින් පිරිසක් ද ඇතුළත් විය.

ජූනි 26 වන දින කටුනායකින් පිටත්වූ කණ්ඩායම පළමු රාත්‍රිය ස්වීඩනයේ ගෝතම්බර්ග් නගරයේ ගත කල අතර 27 වැනිදා ඔස්ලෝ නගරයට පැමිනෙන ලදි. එහිදී ඇස්කර් බාලදක්ෂ නායක රොල්ෆ් සහ බාලදක්ෂයින් දෙදෙනෙකු විසින් ඔවුන්ව පිළිගැනීමෙන් අනතුරුව ඔස්ලෝ නගරය දැකබලාගැනීමේ අවස්ථාවද හිමිවිය. දිනකට පසු පැමිණි ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කළ සෙසු පිරිස සමඟ ඔස්ලෝ ගුවන් තොටුපොලේදී නැවත එක්වීමෙන් පසු පිරිස දුම්රියෙන් බ්‍රොනොයිසුන්ඩ් වෙත ගියහ.

ජුනි 29 සිට ජූලි 6 දක්වා බ්‍රොනයිසුන්ඩ් හී ඔප්ශූන් ප්‍රදේශයේදී කඳවුර පැවති අට්ගර ඊට ක්‍රියාකාරකම් රැසක්  ඇතුළත් විය.  බාලදක්ෂයින් කූඩාරම්වල ජීවත් වූ අතර දින දෙකක පාගමණක් ද සංවිධානය කර තිබන. එහි කොටසක් කැනූ ආදාරයෙන් ගමන් කිරීමද විශේෂ අද්දැකීමක් විය.  සෑම උදෑසනකම සහභාගී සිටි රටවල ජාතික ධජ ඔසවා උදෑසන රැලිය පවත්වමින් කඳවුරේ දෛණික කටයුතු ආරම්භ කෙරින.  නෝර්වේ, ඉතාලිය සහ ඩෙන්මාර්කය නියෝජනය කරමින් බාලදක්ෂයින් 70ක් පමණ මෙම කඳවුරට සහභාගී වූහ.

සාමාජිකයින් 7 දෙනෙකුගෙන් සමන්විත පමුණුගම කණ්ඩායමට චමල්ෂා සහ සහේලි යන දැරියන් දෙදනා මෙන්ම නායිකාව ලෙසින් කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයේ රයිනි ඇතුළත් විය.  මාකලෝසා සිහින පාසලේ මරියෝ සහ හිරුෂාන් යන සිසුන් දෙදෙනා සමග පාසලේ කළමණාකාර අජිත් හැඩ්ලි සහභාගී වූ අතර පමුණුගම YMCA ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් රිද්ම ද සංචාරය සමග එක්වම ලදි.

කඳවුරෙන් පසුව, ශ්‍රී ලංකා කණ්ඩායමට තවත් සතියක් සඳහා බ්‍රොනයිසුන්ඩ් බාලදක්ෂ කණ්ඩායම සත්කාරකත්වය සපයන ලදි. මෙම කාලය තුළ ඔවුන් සැලමන් මත්ස්‍ය අගොවිපලක් නැරඹීමට, තෝර්ග්හටන් යන කන්ද තරනය කිරීමට, සංගීත උත්සවයකට සහභාගී වීම සහ නොර්වේජියානු ෆියෝඩයක බෝට්ටු සවාරියක් අත්දැකීම වැනි අමතක නොවන ක්‍රියාකාරකම් කිහිපයක නිරත වූහ.

මෙම සුවිශේෂී අවස්ථාව පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගනයේ නියෝජිතයින් හට ලබාදීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ ස්තූතිය පුදකර සිටිමු.

Pamunugama YMCA Delegation Attend International Friendship Camp in Norway

A group of seven scouts from the Pamunugama YMCA participated in the "Friends Across Borders" Friendship Camp, organized by the YMCA YWCA Scouts of Bronnoysund, Norway. The 15 member Sri Lankan delegation, included scouts from Moratuwa and Jaffna.

The adventure began on June 27th when the Pamunugama group arrived in Oslo via Gothenburg, Sweden. They were warmly welcomed by Rolf, the Asker Scout Leader, and two scouts from Asker. After reuniting with the rest of the Sri Lankan delegation who arrived one day later from Sri Lanka, the group headed to Bronnoysund by train.

The camp, held from June 29th to July 6th, featured a variety of outdoor and team-building activities. Scouts lived in tents and engaged in adventurous activities, including a two-day hike that combined walking and canoeing. Each morning began with a flag hoisting ceremony, fostering a sense of unity and discipline among the participants. The event saw participation from around 70 scouts representing Norway, Italy, and Denmark.

The Pamunugama group, consisting of 7 members, included two young girls, Chamalsha and Saheli, and one female leader, Raini. Also part of the group were two students Mariyo and Hirushan from Makalause Dream School, accompanied by Ajith Hadley, the school's manager, and Ridma, the General Secretary of the YMCA of Pamunugama.

After the camp, the Sri Lankan group was hosted for an additional week by thr Bronnoysund Scouts. During this time, they engaged in several enriching activities such as visiting a salmon farm, hiking to Torghatten, attending a music festival, and enjoying a boat trip in the fjord.

The YMCA YWCA Scouts of Bronnoysund were instrumental in making this event a success. The Sri Lankan delegation expressed their gratitude to their Norwegian hosts for this incredible opportunity. The Sri Lankan scouts returned home with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for cross-cultural interactions.

තායිචුං තරුණයින්ගේ පමුණුගම සංචාරය

තායිවානයේ තායිචුං තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ 25 දෙනෙකුගෙන් යුත් කණ්ඩායනක් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සංචාරයක් සඳහා සහභාගී විය. ශ්‍රී ලංකා තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම් ජාතික සභාවේ මැදිහත්වීමෙන් සිදු වූ මෙම සංචාරය අතරතුර දින දෙකක් ගත කිරීම සඳහා ඔවුන් පමුණුගමට පැමිණියහ.

ජුලි 8 වන දින, ආබාධ සහිත ළමුන් සඳහා වන YMCA පාසලේ සංචාරයකින් වැඩසටහන ආරම්භ විය. සහභාගිවන්නන් දරුවන් සමඟ සෙල්ලම් කිරීම, නැටීම සහ ක්‍රීඩා වල නිරත වෙමින් අර්ථවත් සම්බන්ධතා ඇති කර ගත්හ.  සවස් වරුවේ ඔවුන් පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ දරුවන් සමග විනෝද ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සහ  ගිනිමැලයක් සඳහා එක්වින.

පසුදින, සහභාගිවන්නන් සෙත්තප්පාඩුව ග්‍රාමයේ ධීවරයින් භාවිතා කරන තොටුපොලක් පිරිසිදු කරමින් සේවා කටයුත්තක නිරත විය.  සවස් කාලයේදී මීගමුව කලපුවේ සුන්දරත්වය සහ සොබා දහම අගය කිරීමට පිරිස එහි බෝට්ටු සවාරියක නිරත විය. 

පමුණුගම YMCA හි අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයින් සහ තරුණ සාමාජිකයින්ගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් YMCA පරිශ්‍රයේ පැවති සමුගැනීමේ BBQ රාත්‍රී භෝජන සංග්‍රහයකින් වැඩසටහන අවසන් විය.  සමුගැනීමේ සාදය අතරතුර තායිචූං තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය වෙත සමරු තිළිණයක් ද පිරිනැමිණි.

Visit of Taichung youth to Pamunugama

The National Council of YMCAs of Sri Lanka facilitated a visit from Taichung YMCA in Taiwan to Sri Lanka. During their visit, a group of 25 participants came to Pamunugama to spend two days from 8th to 9th July.

On 8th July, the programme began with a visit to the YMCA School for Children with Disabilities. Participants engaged in playing, dancing, and games with the children, creating meaningful connections. Lunch was served at the school. In the afternoon, they headed to the YMCA of Pamunugama for fun activities and a campfire with local children.

The next day, participants engaged in a service activity, cleaning a boatyard used by local fishermen. In the afternoon, the group enjoyed a boat trip in the Negombo Lagoon to appreciate its beauty and nature. The programme ended with a farewell BBQ dinner at the YMCA premises, attended by board members and youth members of the YMCA of Pamunugama. During the farewell, a memento was presented to the Taichung YMCA. Participants returned to the hotel, wrapping up a memorable experience.

The programme offered a blend of service, education, and cultural exchange, fostering understanding among the participants. Special thanks to the volunteers of Pamunugama for assisting in planning and conducting the programme and to the National Council of YMCAs for choosing Pamunugama as one of the hosting YMCAs.
