පමුණුගම සහ මීගමුව තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයෙහි දරුවන්ගේ නිවාඩු මස කඳවුර

පමුණුගම සහ මීගමුව තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම් විසින් නිවාඩු මස කඳවුරක් සංවිධානය කළ අතර එමඟින් ප්‍රජාවන් දෙකෙහිම ළමුන් 47 දෙනෙකුට 2024 ජනවාරි 26 සහ 27 යන දෙදින තුළ පමුණුගම YMCA පරිශ්‍රයේ දී අමතක නොවන අත්දැකීමක් හිමි විය. 

කඳවුරේ මූලික අරමුණ වූයේ පමුණුගම සහ මීගමුව YMCA හී ළමුන් එක්රැස් කර සහභාගිවන්නන් අතර මිත්‍රත්වය සහ අවබෝධය ඇති කිරීමයි. මෙම වැඩසටහන කණ්ඩායම් ක්‍රීඩා සහ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් වලින් ආරම්භ වූ අතර, දරුවන්ට එකිනෙකා දැන හඳුනා ගැනීමට සහ බැඳීම් ඇති කර ගැනීම එය ඉවහල් විය.

ඉන්පසු කඳවුරුකරුවන් ගෘහස්ථ ක්‍රීඩා සහ කඳවුරු ගීත සමඟ සැසියක් පැවැත්වීය. ඉන්එ අනතුරුව පමුණුගම වෙරළ තීරයට පාගමණින් ගිය හදරුවන් එල්ලේ ක්‍රීඩා කරමින් සතුටු විය. ඉර බැස යන තුරු පරිසරයේ සුන්දරත්වය විඳි දරුවන් ඉන් අනතුරුව රාත්‍රී අහාරය සඳහා නැවතත් කඳවුරු භූමිය වෙත පැනිණෙන ලදි.

පමුණුගම සහ මීගමුව YMCA දෙකෙහිම උද්යෝගිමත් නායකයින් 12 දෙනාගේ නායකත්වයෙන් යුත් ගීත සහ විනෝදාත්මක ක්‍රියාකාරකම් ඇතුළු විනෝදාත්මක ප්‍රසංගයකින් රාත්‍රිය ජීවමාන විය.

ඊළඟ දවසේ උදෑසන අධ්‍යාපනය සහ විනෝදාස්වාදය සම්මිශ්‍රණය වූ වැඩසටහනක් පවත්නවන ලදී. YMCA හි ඉතිහාසය සහ වටිනාකම් පිළිබඳ සැසියක් සඳහා ළමුන් සහභාගී වූ අතර පසුව ප්‍රශ්න විචාරාත්මක තරඟයක් ද පවත්වන ලදී. උදෑසන විශේෂත්වය වූයේ ෆොටෝ හන්ට් ක්‍රීඩාවයි, එහිදී කණ්ඩායම් සඳහා සපයා තිබූ ඡායාරූප ලැයිස්තුවක් මත පදනම්ව පරිසරයේ පැවැති ඒම අයිතම සොයා ගැනීමට ගවේෂණයක් ආරම්භ කළහ. 

මෙම කඳවුර දරුවන්ගේ පෞරුෂ වර්ධනය සඳහා ඉවහල් වූ අතරන් නිවාඩු කාලය තුළ දරුවන්ට අවශ්‍ය මානසික නිදහස සහ සතුට ළඟාකර දීමට හේතු වූ බව  තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ විශ්වාසයයි.

YMCA Holiday Camp Brings Joy to Pamunugama and Negombo Children"

YMCAs Pamunugama and Negombo organized a Holiday Camp, creating a memorable experience for 47 children from both communities. The event took place on the 26th and 27th of January 2024 at the YMCA of Pamunugama premises.

The primary aim of the camp was to bring together children from Pamunugama and Negombo YMCAs, creating friendship and understanding among the young participants. The programme kicked off with ice-breaking activities, allowing the children to get to know each other and form bonds that would last a lifetime.

Then the campers had a session with indoor games and camp songs. One of the highlights included a walk to the beach, where the children engaged in the traditional Elle game, a local favorite. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the participants gathered on Pamunugama beach to witness a breath-taking sunset.

The evening continued with a delicious dinner at the YMCA premises. The night came alive with entertaining performances, including songs and fun activities led by the 12 enthusiastic leaders from both Pamunugama and Negombo YMCAs. 

The next day brought a blend of education and recreation. The children participated in a session on the history and values of the YMCA, followed by an engaging quiz competition. The highlight of the morning was the Photo Hunt game, where teams embarked on an exciting quest to find items from nature based on a provided list of photos.

As we reflect on the incredible moments shared during this holiday camp, we look forward to more initiatives that bring communities together, creating a positive impact on the lives of our youth. The YMCA continues to be a symbol of unity, friendship, and fun for children across Pamunugama, Negombo and elsewhere. 

සුන්ෆියෝඩ් ෆෝක් හයි ස්කූල් සහ සොන් ඔග් ෆියෝඩනේ පමුණුගම සංචාරය

සංස්කෘතීන් සහ සුහදත්වය හුවමාරු කර ගනිමින්, ෂෙහාන් කොලඹගේ ගුරුවරයා සහ රෙක්ටර් ජෝන් ඔලව්ගේ නායකත්වයෙන් යුත් සුන්ෆියෝඩ් ෆෝක් හයි ස්කූල්, පමුණුගම YMCA වෙත සංචාරයක් සඳහා එක් විය. මේ සඳහා එම පාසලේ සිසුන් නව දෙනෙකුට අමතරව, සොන් ඔග් ෆියෝඩනේ (SOGN OG FJORDANE) ප්‍රාදේශීය YMCA හි ප්‍රධාන ලේකම් සහ ඔහුගේ බිරිඳ සහ දෙමාපියන් දෙදෙනෙකු ද එක්විය. මෙම කණ්ඩායම ජනවාරි 13 වන දින පැමිණ 17 වන දින උදෑසන පිටත් විය.

මෙම සංචාරය සුන්ෆියෝඩ් ෆෝක් හයි ස්කූල්, සොන් ඔග් ෆියෝඩනේ ප්‍රාදේශීය YMCA සහ පමුණුගම YMCA අතර පවත්නා වටිනාකම් සහ ප්‍රජාවට වෙනුවෙන් දක්වන කැපවීම ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරමින් විවිධ සාරවත් අත්දැකීම් වලින් සනිටුහන් විය.

පමුණුගම, මොරටුව, සහ මීගමුව YMCA ක්‍රීඩකයින් ඇතුළු කණ්ඩායම් 23ක් සහභාගී වූ උද්වේගකර කුබ් තරඟාවලියක් 14 වන දින පමුණුගම YMCA හිදී පැවැත්විණි. නෝර්වේ ජාතිකයන් ඇතුළු 100කට අධික පිරිසක් සහභාගි වූ මෙම උද්යෝගිමත් තරගයේ දී මීගමුව YMCA කණ්ඩායම ජයග්‍රහණය කිරීම විශේෂත්වයකි. පමුණුගම YMCA සිය 50 වැනි සංවත්සරය වෙනුවෙන් සංවිධානය කරන ලද ක්‍රියාකාරකම් දාමයේ කොටසක් ලෙස මෙය සංවිධානය කර තිබුණි.

15 වැනි දින පිරිස පමුණුගම YMCA හි මාකලෝසා සිහින පාසලේ නිරීක්ෂණ චාරිකාවක නිරත විය. මෙහිදී, ඔවුන් ආබාධ සහිත සිසුන් සමඟ කාලය ගත කල අතර, අවබෝධය සහ සම්බන්ධතාවය වර්ධනය කර ගත්හ. දිවා ආහාරයෙන් පසු නෝර්වීජියානු ජාතිකයන් පිරිස සහ පාසකේ දරුවන්ගේ දෙමාපියන් ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාව පිළිබඳ තමන් ජීවත් වන සමාහයේ පවතින අද්දැකීම් බෙදාහදා ගන්නා ලදි.

16 වන කණ්ඩායම මීගමුව කලපුවේ සුන්දරත්වය අත්විඳිමින් බෝට්ටු සවාරියකට එක්විය. එදිනම සවස සමුදීමේ රාත්‍රී භෝජන සංග්‍රහය YMCA හි පැවැත්විණි. සන්ධ්‍යාව ආරම්භ කිරමින් තරුණ සාමාජිකාවක (ශයිනි) බටනලා වාදනයක් ඉදිරිපත් කළ අතර ඉන් අනතුරුව සිදු කළ කෙටි ඇගයීම සංචාරයේ වැදගත්කම අවධාරනය කළේය. ඉන් පසු දෙපාර්ශවය අතර පවතින මිත්‍රත්වය සංකේතවත් කරමින් සමරු ත්‍යාග හුවමාරු කර ගන්නා ලදී. Sunnfjord Folk High School හි ශිෂ්‍යයෙකු ඉන් අනතුරුව නෝර්වේ හි කසළ කළමනාකරණය පිළිබඳ තම අත්දැකීම් බෙදාගත් අතර පසුව පරිසරය සඳහා වැඩ කිරීම පිළිබඳ වැඩිදුර සහයෝගීතාව පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡාවක් පැවැත්විණි.

මෙම කල් පවත්නා මිත්‍රත්වයේ විශේෂයෙන් කැපී පෙනෙන අංගයක් වන්නේ Sunnfjord Folk High School's සහ SOGN OG FJORDANE ප්‍රාදේශීය YMCA විසින් 2023 සිට මාකලෝසා සිහින පාසල සඳහා සහය දැක්වීමට ඇති කැපවීමයි. අර්ථවත් අන්තර්ක්‍රියා සහ බෙදාගත් අත්දැකීම් වලින් පිරුණු මෙම සංචාරය දෙපාර්ශවයටම හොඳ මතකයන් ඉතිරි කර ඇති බවට සැකයක් නැත.

Visit of Friends from Sunnfjord Folk High School and SOGN OG FJORDANE Regional YMCA

In a exchange of cultures and camaraderie, Sunnfjord Folk High School, led by teacher Shehan Kolambage and Rector John Olav, joined on a memorable journey to the Pamunugama YMCA. Accompanied by nine students, the General Secretary of SOGN OG FJORDANE Regional YMCA, and his spouse, along with two parents. This diverse group arrived on the 13th of January and departed on the morning of the 17th.

The visit was marked by a variety of enriching experiences, showcasing the shared values and commitment to community between Sunnfjord Folk High School, SOGN OG FJORDANE Regional YMCA and the YMCA of Pamunugama.

On the 14th, an exciting Kubb Tournament was held at the Pamunugama YMCA, attracting 23 teams, including participants from Pamunugama, Moratuwa, and Negombo YMCAs. Notably, the Negombo YMCA team emerged victorious in this spirited competition, where over 100 attendees, including Norwegians, added to the festive atmosphere. This was organized as a part of the chain of activities organized by the YMCA of Pamunugama to mark its 50th Anniversary. 

Continuing their journey on the 15th, the group paid a visit to the Makalause Dream School of the YMCA of Pamunugama. Here, they shared valuable moments with students with disabilities, fostering understanding and connection. A post-lunch meeting with parents addressed disability-related issues, with Norwegians providing insightful perspectives and parents sharing their own experiences.

The 16th group joined a boat trip in the Negombo lagoon experiencing the local landscape. As the day unfolded, the fairwell dinner was held in the YMCA. A youth member set a melodious tone with flute music to begin the evening and a brief evaluation underscored the significance of the visit. Tokens of appreciation were exchanged, symbolizing the enduring friendship between Sunnfjord Folk High School and the YMCA of Pamunugama. A student of Sunnfjord Folk High School also shared about his experiences on waste management on Norway and a subsequent discussion was held on further collaborations on working for Environment. 

A particularly noteworthy aspect of this enduring friendship is Sunnfjord Folk High School's and SOGN OG FJORDANE Regional YMCA's commitment to supporting the Makalause Dream School since 2023. The visit, filled with meaningful interactions and shared experiences, has undoubtedly left good memories on both parties.
