Makalause Swimming Day - මාකලෝසාවේ පිහිණුම් දිනය

මාකලෝසා සිහින පාසලේ දරුවන් 2025 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 30 වන දින පමුණුගම ලේක් වීව් හී පැවති පිහිනුම් වැඩසටහනකට සම්බන්ධ විය.  මේ සඳහා සිසුන් දහ දෙනෙකුට එක්ව සිටි අතර ඔවුන් සමඟින් පාසලේ කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයද සම්බන්ධ විය. පිහිනීමෙන් අනතුරුව ඔවුන් එක්ව දිවා ආහාරය ද ලබා ගන්නා ලදී. පාසල ඇතුළත සිදුවන ක්‍රියාකාරකම්වලට අමතරව දරුවන් බාහිර කටයුතුවලට සම්බන්ධ කිරීම තුළින් ඔවුන්ගේ පෞරුෂ වර්ධනය මෙන්ම සතුට විනෝදය ලබා දීම වැඩසටහන් සංවිධානය කිරීමේ අරමුණයි.  

The children of Makalosa Dream School took part in a swimming program at Lake View, Pamunugama, on September 30, 2025. Ten students joined the activity, accompanied by school staff, and afterward, they all enjoyed lunch together. The program was organized with the aim of bringing joy and entertainment to the children by engaging them in extracurricular activities beyond their regular school routine.

බලශක්ති තිරසරභාවය වෙනුවෙන් නව සූර්ය බල ශක්ති පද්ධතියක්

තිරසාරභාවය සහ පාරිසරික වගකීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් වන අපගේ කැපවීම තහවුරු කරමින් කිලෝ වොට් 6.2 ක ධාරිතාවෙන් යුත් සූර්ය බලශක්ති පද්ධතියක් පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම් ගොඩනැගිල්ල වහලය මත ස්ථාපනය කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් වන පුවත අපි ඔබ සමග ඉතා සතුටින් බෙදා ගන්නෙමු. 

තරමක් දීර්ඝ ක්‍රියාවලියකින් පසු, පද්ධතිය 2025 සැප්තැම්බර් 15 වන දින ජාතික විදුලිබල පද්ධතියට සාර්ථකව සම්බන්ධ කරන ලදී. මේ ඔස්සේ විදුලි ඒකක 600 ක් පමණ මාසිකව උත්පාදනය කිරීමට  හැකි වෙතැයි අපි බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමු. 

මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සාර්ථකව ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීම සඳහා පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයෙහි මිත්‍ර කණ්ඩායමක් වන ජර්මනියේ මියුනිච් YMCA හි දායකත්වය සංගමය වෙත ලැබිණ. විශේෂයෙන්ම අප සංගමය සමඟ ඉතා සමීපව කටයුතු කරන, සරල සහ පුනර්ජනනීය ව්‍යාපෘති  පිළිබඳව උනන්දුවක් දක්වන මියුනිච් YMCA හි මාටින් මහතාගේ මැදිහත්වීම කැපී පෙනීන.  

මෙම පියවර සමඟින්, අපගේ තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයෙහි දිගුකාලීන බලශක්ති තිරසාරභාවය තහවුරු කිරීමටත්,  ගෝලීය හරිත අරමු ඉටු කර ගැනීමටත් ප්‍රධාන පියවරක් තබයි. 

“Solar Power for a Sustainable YMCA”

YMCA of Pamunugama is proud to announce the installation of a 6.26 kWp solar power system, a milestone in our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. After a careful and lengthy process, the system was successfully connected to the National Grid on Monday, 15 September 2025. It is expected to generate around 600 kWh monthly from this project.

This project was made possible through the generous support of our partners at Munich YMCA, Germany, and with special gratitude to Mr. Martin Knorich, a dear friend, well-wisher, and member of Munich YMCA, who really likes to implement projects to live more simple and sustainable.

With this step, we look forward to reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to the global green cause while ensuring long-term energy sustainability for our YMCA.

Together, we continue to build a better and greener future!

කැපුන්ගොඩ ශාන්ත අන්තෝනි විද්‍යාලයේ දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් පැවැති ශිෂ්‍යනායක වැඩමුළුව

2025 සැප්තැම්බර් 13 වන දින පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය මගින් කැපුන්ගොඩ ශාන්ත අන්තෝනි කනිෂ්ඨ ද්විතීයික පාසලේ ශිෂ්‍ය නායක නායිකාවන් සඳහා නායකත්ව පුහුණු වැඩමුළුවක් පවත්වන ලදී. ශිෂ්‍ය නායක නායිකාවන් 30 දෙනෙකු මෙම වැඩසටහනට සහභාගී වූ අතර එය සම්බන්ධීකරණය කරන ලද්දේ පාසලේ ශිෂ්‍ය  නායක නායිකාවන් භාර ගුරුවරිය වන අනෝෂා විජේබණ්ඩාර මහත්මිය විසිනි.

YMCA හි කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සහ තරුණ නායකයින් විසින් පවත්වන ලද එක්දින වැඩමුළුවට නායකත්වය, කණ්ඩායම් හැඟීම ඉස්මතු වන ආකාරයේ ක්‍රියාකාරකම්,  වැඩසටහන් සැලසුම් කිරීම සහ ගැටළු විසඳීම පිළිබඳ සැසි ඇතුළත් විය. එහිදී විවිධ ක්‍රීඩා,  කණ්ඩායම් සාකච්ඡා සහ ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම් දරුවන් සමඟ එක්වෙමින් සිදු කරන ලදී. 

වැඩසටහන අවසානයේ සහභාගී වූ ශිෂ්‍ය නායක නායිකාවන් හට සහතික පතක් ප්‍රදානය කළ අතර ඊට අනුග්‍රහය දැක්වීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ශිවංකර රණවිර මහතාට සංගමය ස්තුතිය පළ කෙරේ.  වැඩසටහන අවසානයේදී  අදහස් දක්වමින් අනූෂා විජයබණ්ඩාර ගුරුතුමිය සහ සිසුවියන් YMCA වෙත සිය කෘතඥතාවන පළ කළ අතර අනාගතයේදී පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය සමඟ සහයෝගයෙන් කටයුතු කරගෙන යෑමට කැමැත්ත පළ කරන ලදී.

Prefect Training Workshop at YMCA of Pamunugama

The YMCA of Pamunugama conducted a Prefect Training Workshop on 13th September 2025 for the prefects of WP/NG/Kepungoda St. Anthony's Junior Secondary School. A total of 30 prefects participated in the programme, which was coordinated by Ms. Anosha Wijebandara, Teacher In-charge of Prefects.

The one-day workshop, conducted by the staff and youth leaders of the YMCA, included sessions on leadership, teamwork, event planning, and problem-solving. Interactive activities and discussions helped the students build confidence and strengthen their prefectship skills.

The programme concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony, with special thanks to Mr. Shivankara Ranaweera, member of YMCA Pamunugama, for sponsoring the certificates. At the end of the event, the school expressed their gratitude to the YMCA and conveyed their wish to continue cooperation in the future.

YMCA Kite Festival 2025

The YMCA Pamunugama held its annual Kite Festival 2025 under the theme “Smiling Together, Flying Together” on 07 September at Sarakkuwa Beach, Kepungoda. The event drew a lively crowd of around 1,000 people from the village and nearby areas, filling the sky with more than 130 colorful kites.

The festival was organized by the youth of YMCA Pamunugama and welcomed participants of all ages, including families and children. The Officer-in-Charge of Dungalpitiya Police, along with Grama Niladhari and Economic Development Officers from Kepungoda and Seththappaduwa, joined as special guests and also assisted in judging.

Winners received cash prizes of Rs. 20,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 for first, second and third places, along with certificates. Consolation prizes were also given to encourage more participants. Children from Makalause Dream School took part as well, adding to the inclusiveness of the festival.

Event is meant not only to bring joy but also to strengthen unity and harmony in the community. The Kite Festival has now become a much-loved annual event that brings people together under one sky.

YMCA සරුංගල් උත්සවය 2025

පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය මඟින් සංවිධානය කළ වාර්ෂික සරුංගල් උත්සවය 2025 “එක්ව සිනාසෙමින්, එක්ව පියාසර කරමු” යන තේමාව යටතේ සැප්තැම්බර් 07 වන දින කැපුන්ගොඩ,  සරක්කුව වෙරළේදී පැවැත්වින. අවට ප්‍රදේශවලින් පැමිණි 1,000 කට වැඩි පිරිසක් මෙම මෙම අවස්ථාවට සහභාගි වූ අතර, සරුංගල් 130 කට අධික සංඛ්‍යාවකින් අහස වර්ණවත් විය. උත්සවය සංවිධාන කටයුතු සිදුකරනු ලැබුයේ සංගමයේ තරුණ හවුලේ පූර්ණ මැදිහත්වීමෙනි.  පවුල් වශයෙන් සහ සියලු වයස් කාණ්ඩ නියෝජනය කරමින් ජනතාව මීට සම්බන්ධවී සිටීම විශේෂත්වයකි. 

විශේෂ අමුත්තන් ලෙස දුන්ගල්පිටිය පොලිසියේ ස්ථානාධිපතිනිය, සෙත්තප්පඩුව ග්‍රාම නිලධාරීනිය, කැපුන්ගොඩ සහ සෙත්තප්පාඩුවේ ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන නිලධාරීන් සහභාගි වූ අතර, විනිශ්චය කටයුතු සඳහාද ඔවුන්ගේ සහය හිමිවිය.

ප්‍රථම, දෙවන හා තුන්වන ස්ථාන සඳහා තරඟකරුවන්ට රු. 20,000, රු. 15,000 හා රු. 10,000 මුදල් ත්‍යාග සහ සහතිකපත් පිරිනමන ලදී. වැඩි සහභාගීත්වයක් දිරිමත් කිරීම සඳහා සැනසිලි ත්‍යාග 5 ක් ද ලබාදීමට කටයුතු කරන ලදී. සංගමයේ මාකලෝසා සිහින පාසලේ  දරුවන් ද උත්සවයට එකතු වීම තුළින් අන්තර්කරණය සඳහා සගමයේ ඇති කැපවීම තහවුරු කරණ ලදි. 

මෙම උත්සවයේ අරමුණ ප්‍රීතිය සහ විනෝදය පමණක් නොව, ප්‍රජාවේ එකමුතුකම සහ සමගිය ශක්තිමත් කිරීමයි.  මේ වන විට, සරුංගල් උත්සවය සෑම වසරකම බොහෝ දෙනා බලාපොරොත්තු වන ප්‍රියතම වාර්ෂික උත්සවයක් ලෙස හැඳින්විය හැක.
