Seventeen scouts of the Association as well as seven scouts of "Makalause Dream" YMCA School for children with disabilities attended the camp. Group of twelve leaders including parents and teachers also participated in the event.
The camp, which was conducted by the Scout leaders of the association, consisted of many different activities. Campers hiked to the top of Manigala hill which is located four kilometers away from the camp site. During the hike campers were given the task to learn about Manigala and the bio-diversity of the nature they were hiking through. The camp site was surrounded by traditional rice paddies. A conversation with a traditional farmer was also organized to learn about the traditional method of paddy farming in Sri Lanka. Apart from this, the camp consisted of outdoor cooking session, safe trekking, campfire, song singing, team games and many challenging activities. The children had the opportunity to enjoy the camp environment and enjoy swimming in the nearby Thelgamu Oya as well..
