Scouts Celebrate PB Day at the YMCA - ලෝක බාල බාලදක්ෂ දිනය සැමරූ පමුණුගම බාලදක්ෂයින්

Worldwide in nearly all Scout associations, Founders' Day is celebrated on February 22, the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, (born in 1857), the founder of Scouting, and coincidentally also of his wife Olave Baden-Powell (born in 1889).

YMCA of Pamunugama Scouts gathered at the YMCA on 22 February, 2022 to celebrate this special day. 28 scouts from the YMCA Scout Group and the Makalause Dream School attended the event.

Day started with flag hoisting and later joined a zoom event organized by the 8th Moratuwa Scout Troop. During the zoom event scouts were able to listen to a presentation on the history of Scout Movement and the founder Baden Powel known as PB among the scout fellowship. Then scouts played a few games and had lunch together. 

බාලදක්ෂ ව්‍යාපාරයේ නිර්මාතෘ බේඩ්න් පවෙල් මහතාගේ උපන්දිනය (උපත 1857)  සිහිපත් කරමින් සෑම වසරකම පෙබරවාරි මස 22 වන දින  ලොව පුරා බාලදක්ෂයින් ලෝක බාලදක්ෂ දිනය සමරයි. බේඩ්න් පවෙල් මහතාගේ බිරිඳ වන ඔලව් බෙඩ්න් පවෙල් (උපත 1899) මහත්මියගේ උපන්දිනයද මෙදිනම යෙදී තිබීම විශේෂත්වයකි. ලෝක බාල බාලදක්ෂිකා ව්‍යාපාරයේ නිර්මාතෘවරිය වන්නේ ඇයයි. 

මෙම විශේෂ දිනය සැමරීම සඳහා පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ බාලදක්ෂ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන් ද 2022 පෙබරවාරි මස 22 දින සංගම් භූමියේදී එක්රැස් විය. බාලදක්ෂ රැළිය පවත්වා දිනය ආරම්භ කර බාදක්ෂ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන් අනතුරුව සහභාගිවූයේ මොරටුව අටවන

බාලදක්ෂ කණ්ඩායම විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද zoom වැඩසටහනක් සඳහායි. බාලදක්ෂ ව්‍යාපාරය ඉතිහාසය සහ බේබි පවෙන් තුමා පිළිබඳව මෙහිදී දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් ඉදිරි ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමක් සූදානම් කර තිබිණි.  

ඉන් අනතුරුව බාලදක්ෂ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන් විනෝද ක්‍රීඩා කීපයකට සහභාගි වූ අතර දිවා ආහාරය ලබා ගැනීමෙන් පසු විසිර යන ලදී. මෙම වැඩ වැඩසටහන සඳහා පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ බාලදක්ෂ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන් සහ Makalause පාසලේ බාලදක්ෂ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන් 29 දෙනෙකු සහභාගී විය.

පමුණුගම YMCA බාලදක්ෂයෝ 74 වන නිදහස් දිනය සමරති - Pamunugama Scouts Celebrates the 74rd Independence Day

පෙබරවාරි මස 4 වෙනි දිනට යෙදී තිබුණු 74 වන ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් දින සැමරුම් වැඩසටහන්ක් පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගම් බාලදක්ෂ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන්ගේ සහ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් සංගම් භූමියේ දී පැවැත්විණ. ජාතික ධජය එසවීමෙන්  අනතුරුව ජාතික ගීය ගායනා කළ ඔවුන් පසුව නිදහස් දිනය පිලිබඳ කෙටි අදහස් බෙදා ගැ නීම්ක් තුළින් දැනුමවත් විය.

ඉන්පසු ඔවුන් කණ්ඩායම් ක්‍රියාකාරකමක යෙදුනේ පරිසරයෙන් සොයාගත් ද්‍රව්‍ය උපයෝගී කර ගනිමින් ජාතික ධජය නිර්මාණය  කරමිනි. ඉන්නන් අනතුරුව ඔවුන් සුහද ක්‍රිකට් තරගයක් සඳහා සහ සහභාගී වූ අතර  දිවා ආහාරය ලබාගැනීමෙන් අනතුරුව විසිර යන ලදී. වැඩසටහන් සඳහා බාලදකබාලදක්ෂ බාලදක්ෂිකාවන් සහ නායක නායිකාවන් තිස් පස් දෙනෙකු පමණ සහභාගී විය.

Scouts of the YMCA of Pamunugama gathered at its premises on 04 February 2022 to celebrate the 74th Independence Day. Scouts raised the flag, sang the national anthem at the beginning and then had a discussion on the independence where they refreshed their knowledge on the history of independence.

Then scouts had a group activity where they created the national flag out of things found from the nature. Then they played a friendly cricket match and had lunch at the end of the programme. 35 scouts and leaders attended the event.
