වාර්ෂික සුහද හමුව 2021 Members Gathering 2021

සංගමයේ කොඳු නාරටිය වන්නේ සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන්ය. ඔවුන් විවිධ අයුරින් සංගමයේ ක්‍රියාකාරීත්වය සඳහා දායකවේ. බොහෝවිට සංගමයේ විවිධ වැඩසටහන් සඳහා සහභාගී වන්නේ එම වැඩසටහන සඳහා උනන්දුවක් දක්වන සාමාජිකයිනි. එම නිසා ඔවුන් සියළු දෙනා හට හමුවීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබෙන්නේ අවස්ථා කීපයකදී පමණි. වාර්ෂික සුහද හමුව ඊට කදිම අවස්ථාවකි. 

2021 සාමාජික සුහද හමුව දෙසැම්බර් මස 22 වන දින සංගම් ශාලාවේදී පැවැත්වුනේ සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් 35 දෙනෙකුට අධික පිරිසකගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙනි. මෙහිදී සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් විවිධ විනෝධ ක්‍රීඩා වලට සහභාගී වෙමින්, රාත්‍රි ආහාරය එක්ව ලබාගනිමින්, කැරෝකේ කීත ගායනා කරමින් සහ සංගමයේ දරුවන්ගේ හැකියාවන් රසවිඳිමින් ඉතා සුන්දර සැඳෑ කාලයක් ගතකරන ලදි. 

Members are the back born of the association. They contributes to the success of the YMCA in various ways. Different members attend deferent activities through out the year and there are only few occations for them all to meet together. Members gathering is one of them. 

This year the members gathering was held on 22 December at the YMCA main hall with participation of over 35 members. During the gathering members had a great time, playing fun games, singing karaoke songs, having dinner and enjoying the talents of YMCA children.

බාලදක්ෂයින් අතින් හැඩවූ සංගමයේ ගවලෙන - Crib made by scouts at YMCA of Pamunugama

මාලීෂ පෙරේරාගේ නායකත්වයෙන් යුතුව බාලදක්ෂයින් විසින් මෙවර සංගම් භූමිය තුළ ගවලෙන නිර්මාණය කෙරින. විවිධ වැඩසටහන් සමඟ පැවති කාර්යය බහුල තත්වය තුල වුවද ඉතා නිර්මාණශීලී ලෙස කෙටි කාලකය් යොදාගනිමින් මෙවර ගවලෙන සංගමයේ බාලදක්ෂයින් විසින් ඉදිකොට තිබින.

This year the crib was made by Scouts of Pamunugama YMCA with the leadership of Maleesha. Due to the busy schedule children had with all the programmes planned during the year end scouts had a very short time to complete the crib. Even within this short time the group was able to make a beautiful and creative crib at the YMCA premises. 

Carol tour around the village - සංගමයේ දරුවන් කැරොල් සංචාරයේ -

As Christmas arrives, every year the Children of Pamunugama YMCA visit homes in the village to spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christs arrival to this world. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, this long standing tradition of Pamunugama YMCA could not be followed last year. 

With the lifting of restrictions children were able to visit homes singing carols this year. A group of 25 children of Pamunugama YMCA visited several homes in the village, handing over gifts to children and singing carols on 21 December 2021.   

සැම වසරකම පාහේ නත්තල උදාවත්ම, සංගමයේ දරුවන් කැරොල් ගීත ගායනා කරමින් ග්‍රාමය පුරා සාමයේ කුමරාගේ ආගමනයේ පණිවුඩය සහ අසිරිය රැගෙන සංචාරයේ යෙදේ. කොවිඩ් 19 හේතුවෙන් පසුගිය වසරේදී මෙම කාර්යය සිදු කිරීමට නොහැකි වුවද කොවිඩ් 19 රෙගුලාසි ලිහිල් වීමත් සමඟ මෙවර එම අවස්ථාව දරුවන්ට හිමිවිය.

සංගමයේ දරුවන් 25 දෙනෙකුගෙන් පමණ යුත් කණ්ඩායමක් ග්‍රාමය පුරා 2021 දෙසැම්බර් මස 21 වන දින සවස කැරොල් සංචාරයේ යෙදුනේ වසර ගණනාවක් තිස්සේ පවත්වාගෙන ආ ඒ සුන්දර සම්ප්‍රදාය ආරක්ෂා කරමිනි. මෙම සංචාරය අතර තුරදී ඔවුන් නිවසින් නිවසට ගොස් කැරොල් ගීත ගායනා කරමින් එම නිවෙස්වල සිටි දරුචන් හට ත්‍යාග පිරිනමන ලදි.

New YMCA Initiative to promote the rights of people with disabilities - ආබාධ සහිත පුරවැසියන්ගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් වෙනුවෙන් YMCA කැපවෙයි

YMCA of Pamunugama together with the Sri Lanka Welfare Society of the Blind (SLWSB) launched a new advocacy project to promote the inclusion and the rights of the people with disabilities in Sri Lanka. Through this project it is intended to mobilize civil society groups and youth groups to take hand in hand with the organizations for the people with disabilities to promote the rights of people with disabilities. There have been several one to one meetings and the first collective meeting was held on 21 December via zoom. During the meeting participating groups agreed to work together in the future.

This short term project will consist of number of activities and campaign events to initiate a dialogue in the society on the right based issues of people with disabilities in Sri Lanka as there no enough dialogue taking place at the moment. Participation for the Global Disability Summit (GDS) Scheduled for February also one of the highlight events of this projects. Couple of awareness Building programmes and a National Summit is planned within the project activities as a lead-up for the GDS.

YMCA and the SLWSB are very excited with the positive responses and enthusiasm shown by different groups so far. ATLAS (umbrella organization for DPOs in Norway) is supporting the project through Y global which is the International arm of the YMCA/YWCA of Norway. 

පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමය සහ ‍ශ්‍රී ලංකා දෘශ්‍යාබාධිත සුභසාධන සංගමය ඒකාබද්ධව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සිටින ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාවගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් තහවුරු කිරීම් වෙනුවෙන් අලුත් බලපෑම් ව්‍යාපෘතියක් ආරම්භ කොට ඇත. මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය හරහා සිවිල් සංවිධාන, තරුණ සංවිධාන සහ ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාව නියෝජනය කරන සංවිධාන ඒකරාශී කොට ගෙන පොදු වැඩපිළිවෙළලක් ඔස්සේ ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාව ගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් තහවුරු කිරීම සඳහා බලපෑම් ක්‍රියාවලියක් සිදු කිරීම සැලසුම් කොට ඇත.

මේ වනවිටත් බොහොමයක් සංවිධාන සමඟ සාකච්ඡා පවත්වා ඇති අතර පළමු පොදු සාකච්ඡාව Zoom ඔස්සේ 2021 දෙසැම්බර් මස 21 පවත්වන ලදී. ඒ සඳහා සහ සහභාගීවූ සියලුම සංවිධාන ඉදිරියේ දී ඒකාබද්ධව කටයුතු කිරීමට එකඟතාවය පලකොට ඇත.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සිටින ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාවගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් පිලි පිළිබඳව ප්‍රමාණවත් සංවාදයක් සමාජය තුළ නොමැති බව පැහැදිලිය. මෙම තත්වය හමුවේ යෝජිත ව්‍යාපෘති ක්‍රියාකාරකම් හරහා මාජය තුළ ප්‍රමාණවත් කතිකාවතක් ආරම්භ කිරීමට අපි බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමු.  එමෙන්ම 2022 පෙබරවාරි මාසයේ පැවැත්වීමටට නියමිත ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාව සඳහා වූ ගෝලීය සමුළුවට සහහභාගි වීමද මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතියේ එක් වැදගත් ක්‍රියාකාරකම් වේ.  ඒ සඳහා සූදානම් වීමට දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වැඩ සටහන් කිහිපයක් මෙන්ම ජාතික සමුළුවක් සංවිධානයකි කිරීමට ද බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් පසුවෙමු. 

 

මෙම නව ව්‍යාපෘතියය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මේ වන විට විවිධ සංවිධාන සමඟ ඇති වී තිබෙන ඉතා ධනාත්මක එකඟතාවයන් පිළිබඳව අපි උද්‍යෝගයෙන් පසු වන්නෙමු.   මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය ක්‍රියාවට නැංවීම් සඳහා තරුණ  ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමයේ ජාත්‍යන්තර පාර්ශවකරුවෙකු වන y global ආයතනය අපට සහාය වන අතර Y Global ආයතනය සමඟ නෝර්වේ රාජ්‍යයේ ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාව ගේ  සංවිධානවල මව් සංවිධානායේ සංවිධානය ලෙස කටයුතු කරන ATLAS නම් සංවිධානය සම්බන්ධයෙන් වී සිටී.

එක්දින ළමා කඳවුර Day Camp for Children

පමුණුගම තරුණ ක්‍රිස්තියානි සංගමේ ළමා හමුවේ දරුවන් සඳහා එක්දින කඳවුරක් 2021 දෙසැම්බර් මස 11වන දින පැවැත්විණ. 

ඒ සඳහා දරුවන් 25 දෙනෙකු සහභාගි වූ අතර දවස පුරා විවිධ ක්‍රියාකාරකම් පැවැත්විණි.  එදින පැවති ක්‍රියාකාරකම් අතර නාට්‍ය අනුසාරයෙන් දේව වචනය අධ්‍යයනය කිරීම, කණ්ඩායම් ක්‍රියාකරකම් සහ එක්ව ආහාර ගැනීම සිදුවිය. 

කොවිඩ් 19 තත්වය හමුවේ බොහෝ කලක් නිවෙස් වල සිරවී සිටි දරුවන් හට සෞඛ්‍ය නිර්නායක අනුව එකරාශි වීමට සහ සාමාන්‍ය පරිදි ළමා වැඩසටහන් පවත්වාගෙන යාමට අවස්ථාව උදාවීම දරුවන්ගේ මානසික සුවතාවයට මහත් පිටුවහලක් වනු ඇත.

Children of Pamunugama YMCA had a day Camp at the YMCA premises on 11 December 2021. 25 Scouts and Children's Club members attended this camp. 

Children started the day with a biblical reflection where they also performed the same bible story which they reflect in groups as a short drama. Then they had number of group activities including making Christmas cards, group games and singing. Children also were able to enjoy a nice lunch together as a YMCA family after a while.

Being able to conduct regular gatherings and activities after Covid 19 restrictions, will help to ease-up the mental stress that children have been experiencing since the pandemic began.
